We cannot guarantee that all listings are free from errors, that all items are in stock, or that prices are always current. If an item becomes unavailable after you’ve ordered:

• We’ll contact you by email or phone promptly
• We’ll offer a full refund, store credit, a comparable substitute (with your approval), or a backorder hold if applicable
• We will not charge you for any item we are unable to supply

If a pricing error occurs on your order, we’ll notify you and give you the choice to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We reserve the right to void orders placed at incorrect prices.

If a product you receive doesn’t match its description, contact us at info@backstreetbooks.com within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.

• Processing takes 1–2 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays
• A Shipping Confirmation Email with tracking details will follow once your order ships

Delivery

• FREE Standard Shipping on all U.S. orders
• Processing: 1–2 business days | Transit: 2–6 business days | Total: 3–8 business days
• Shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx

We currently ship within the United States only — no U.S. territories or international destinations at this time. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

5. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.

To Be Eligible for a Return

• The item must be in unused, original condition with all parts included
• Original packaging and inserts must be intact
• Books must not contain writing, highlighting, or damage
• Proof of purchase is required

How to Return

1. Email info@backstreetbooks.com within 30 days of delivery
2. Include your order number, item(s), and reason for return
3. Receive a Return Authorization number and instructions within 1 business day
4. Ship the item back as instructed
5. Receive your refund within 7–10 business days of our receiving the return

Shipping Costs for Returns

• Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: We pay all return shipping and provide a prepaid label
• Change of mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping

Refunds

• Processed within 7–10 business days of inspecting your return
• Issued to the original payment method
• Allow an additional 3–7 business days for your bank to post the credit

Our maximum liability for any claim related to a specific purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that item, or $100 USD, whichever is less. Some jurisdictions limit exclusions of liability — in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
